Sub-Processors

Hello Clerk, Inc. engages a limited number of third-party service providers (“Sub-processors”) to process Customer Data on its behalf in connection with the provision of the Services. This page lists Hello Clerk’s current Sub-processors, in accordance with Section 7 of the Data Processing Agreement.
Hello Clerk imposes contractual obligations on each Sub-processor that provide a level of data protection consistent with the requirements of Art. 28 GDPR and the Data Processing Agreement.
Current Sub-processors
- Hetzner Online GmbH — Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany — Hosting and infrastructure services — Location of processing: Germany (European Union).
- Mailgun Technologies, Inc. — 112 E Pecan St #1135, San Antonio, TX 78205, USA — Transactional email delivery — Location of processing: Frankfurt, Germany (EU region).
- Cloudflare, Inc. — 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA — Encrypted backup storage (Cloudflare R2) — Location of processing: European Union.
Independent third parties (not Sub-processors)
The following third parties are not Sub-processors of Hello Clerk. They act as independent data controllers (or, as applicable, independent processors of Customer) under their own terms directly with Customer:
- Atlassian Pty Ltd — The platform on which the Services run. Customer’s use of Atlassian Jira is governed by Customer’s own agreements with Atlassian.
- Customer-initiated integrations — Where Customer connects external accounting, time-tracking, or invoicing platforms (such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, or Tempo) to the Services via OAuth at Customer’s own initiative, Hello Clerk transmits Customer Data to Customer’s own account at the relevant third party on Customer’s documented instruction. The relevant third party is not a Sub-processor of Hello Clerk.
Notification of changes
Hello Clerk will notify Customers of any intended addition or replacement of Sub-processors at least thirty (30) days in advance by updating this page. Customers who wish to object to a new Sub-processor on reasonable data protection grounds may do so in accordance with the procedure set out in Section 7.4 of the Data Processing Agreement.
